Acting Through Song with Rachel & Matt

Rachel TuckerRachel is best known for playing Elphaba in over 1,000 performances of Wicked, both on the West End and Broadway.
After training in London at the Royal Academy of Music, Rachel was chosen as a finalist on the 2008 Andrew Lloyd Webber-judged series "I’d Do Anything" where she competed alongside actors like Samantha Barks and Jessie Buckley.
In late 2008 Rachel’s West End debut came as Meat in We Will Rock You. Following a year in that role, she was cast to replace Alexia Khadime as Elphaba in Wicked on the West End.
Rachel led Wicked in London for over two years, making her the UK’s longest-running Elphaba.
After leaving the West End production in 2012 she went on to be Broadway’s Elphaba in 2015 before returning to the West End Wicked stage in 2017 in the production’s 10th anniversary cast. Beyond Wicked, Rachel has starred in Farragut North in London, John & Jen at the Southwark Playhouse, and on Broadway in Sting’s The Last Ship. In 2018, Rachel joined the original West End cast of Come From Away as Beverley and others. For this performance she received a Laurence Olivier award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical. Rachel then brought this performance to Broadway when Come From Away reopened in New York in 2021.mRachel played Annie Oakley in an Annie Get Your Gun concert at the London Palladium in early 2023.
It has recently been announced that Rachel will be starring alongside Megan Hilty in Gentleman prefer Blondes at the London Palladium in March 2027.

Matt Henry 
Matt is currently starring in the Devil Wears Prada Musical in the West End. He is best known for his Olivier award winning performance playing Lola in Kinky Boots and for being a finalist on the second series of The Voice.
Other critically acclaimed stage performances include starring in Saturday Night Fever, Avenue Q and most recently The Drifters Girls, which he also co-created alongside the original West End Cast Beverley Knight, Adam J Bernard, Tarinn Callender and Tosh Wanogho-Maud. In 2017 he was awarded an MBE for services to musical theatre.

Ben Harris
Ben's professional credits include Saturday Night Fever - International Tour, Grease - West End, Footloose - UK Tour• Never Forget - UK Tour
& Dirty Dancing - West End & Tour
Alongside performing, Ben teaches at some of the UK's top musical theatre colleges, including:
London Studio Centre, Urdang,  Emil Dale. Northern Ballet School & Performers amongst others.
On the day Ben will be taking the young performers through a Musical Theatre Workshop.

Lucy Jane Adcock
Lucy is an experienced West End performer, teacher and choreographer. She has appeared in a multitude of West End and touring productions.
Her theatre credits include, AN EVENING OF DIRTY DANCING, SWEET CHARITY, GUYS AND DOLLS, MATILDA, HAPPY DAYS, CHORUS LINE, TOP HAT, Ruthie Henshall’s SOUNDS OF HOLLYWOOD, CHICAGO, MAMMA MIA, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, FAME, TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

Other work includes Carabosse in SLEEPING BEAUTY, choreographed DICK WHITTINGTON (Roses Theatre Tewkesbury) BRIDGET JONES MUSICAL (workshop) THE DEVILS ADVOCATE (workshop) Assistant choreographer to Matt Cole LEGENDS OF HOLLYWOOD (Private Drama events) Assistant to Alan Burkitt on BBC’S STRICTLY COME DANCING. Lucy can be heard on the Original Cast Recordings of TONIGHTS THE NIGHT and TOP HAT.
She also enjoys the more creative side of theatre. She teaches open classes @basedancestudios and @themsnorldn and delivers workshops around the UK and Europe to the next generation of performers.

On the ​day Lucy will be taking the young performers through a commercial dance workshop.
